« on: April 11, 2010, 03:13:00 PM »

hey, im new to this kind of thing but i was wondering if there is any software out there to let me run my 360 through my pc, so i can play it on my moniter in a windor or something, maby fullscreen. can anyone help me out?

(i have a NVIDIE Gforce 9800GT 512mb graphics card with two DVI ports and a video port, but the black one not the yellow one (i have a wire that lets me plug my red green blue component cables from the 360 into this and a HDMI-DVI cable, so i can plug it into eitherof these)

sorry if i left any details out but im really not sure what i need to tell you guys and even if there is any software like this out there, thanks.

The cables you have are for video out only.

you will need to get a capture card, or USB device to be able to accept video in.

U can just buy a HDMI to DVI-D cable and connect ur 360 to ur monitor.

And if u dont just wanna connect the 360 to ur monitor, but to ur pc, just like "MrFlooD" said, u have to buy a capture card for ur pc, AKA TV card.

But if u buy a capture card, remember to buy one with hdmi inputs, because xbox 360 has bad quality if u use the components output...
