I got a 360 with a benq drive off ebay with a dead dvd drive.

I also purchased another benq drive (both version VAD6038)

I have tried spoofing it with jungle flasher and updating to the latest firmware.

I was able to retrieve the key off the dead drive but suspect it might have been previously flashed with ixtreme 1.41 because during the process of loading the source fw it displays the fw type as being: iXtreme v1.41-8x

If this means that it is infact that fw, am I able to still spoof the drive with this fw, or must it be the original key?

If it has to be the original key is there any way to get it with just having the original drive already with this fw on it?

The original drive is able to be read by jungle flasher but I believe the motor on it, or the track to be messed up as it won't fully eject, but it will take power and I can read the fw off it.
