I think what we need to know is if this is any different than using iPrep or JF. I've used iPrep many time flashing the new LT firmware and have had no trouble. So is there any significant reason for using this tool?
Thanks.
I made this for use in iPrep as Firmtool does not always copy data correctly to LT firmware.
Check for yourself's, make a LT CFW in JF then use FirmTool and byte compare, more often than not you will see the Firmtool CFW is different.
eg,
FirmTool Source key @0xC030, moves it to 0xE030
JungleFlasher Source key @0xC030, moves it to 0xE040 - Assume this is correct.
benTool Source key @0xC030, moves it to 0xE040 - output 100% byte for byte match to what JungleFlasher produces.
This is not a replacement of DosFlash, just a BenQ version of liteTool, use it or not, is upto you.
It will also take any BenQ OFW or Pre-Patched CFW and patch LT with the correct info in the right place.
All my 16-Bit apps are made with the permission of Caster420 and designed to further Firmtool as that is no longer being developed.
I'm just not as skilled as Caster420 and have had to split the Firmtool updates into separate applications for each firmware type.
