The problem with using patched xefu's is that they break all games that have unpatched default.xbe's,I tried this last night and all 15 of my installed xbox 1 god's would not start.I then tried to patch Fable which was working unpatched with normal xefu's and again it wouldnt work, however i did get Hitman Contracts PAL to work with  this method on my NTSC box.

You run it against the 45k stub file, not the 160mb data files.
Yes, you have an ancient version of the emulator, presumably from before your game was supported. See my post at the bottom of the first page.
It really does have to be original. It's digitally signed, if you tamper with it the signature will be invalid and it will not run. Unless you have a hacked version of the emulator. Or somehow your xbox is magic and defies the laws of computer science.

That link shows up, back can't read the langauge its in. Do you have a different link?

I search for Fusion TU v19 5829 in google and found this link http://xboxupdates.t...k/?asc=0&page=9

Suppose this wont help with "non-compatible" xbox1 games? So annoyed that the one game i want working (Def Jam: Fight for NY) never was approved for 360. More kickass 4-player game cant be found wink.gif

How are you using it? Are you putting all of the files on hddx or have you made a new title update package to include the files that are normally delivered in this way?

If you want to just put all the files on hhdx you'll need to patch your xbox.xex so it knows where to find them (it expects them to be in the update package). The common patched package that's floating around doesn't include this, but it's easily done (I just did it to mine for this very reason and now the games that stopped working are now working again).

You have to put 4D570029\00005000 in content\000000000000.

Btw I'm trying to get Halo NTSC working on the hacked xbox emu, but is it possible to use a Japanese xbe from an original Halo CE game and add it to a patched Halo CE USA game?

Correct, in HDD1.

I followed a guide from xboxhacker:

- Get insertxfs from this thread: http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=14164.40

- drop your (untouched) iso on insertxfs. I actually don't know if the game your using is in the compatibility list.

- Add the ISO and manually specify the Title ID for the game (you can find this using XbeDump or XbeTool). Set the value of 1 to Disc Num and Disc Count. Set the value of 0 Platform/Ex Type and "00000000" to Media ID. I'd recommend choosing Full padding removal to force a rebuild of the ISO as well.

- Convert the ISO as normal.

- Rename the GOD directory from "00007000" to "00005000" and upload as normal to your 360.

- run it through the God2XB1 and report back.

Hope this helps.

Credits to Rab (XBH) for his guide and God2XB1 tool, and to Redspider (XBH) for his insertxfs tool!

i hav been trying to convert Brute Force (NTSC) to GoD.  the game is on the compatibility list, the original plays fine in my 360,

 - i use xbox iso creator and my kreon drive to extract an iso
 -  used it again to extract the files from the iso to a folder.
 - i run crear.exe to create an iso that is compatible with iso2god.
 - then use DEXBE to extract title ID info from the default.xbe
 - open iso2god and select the iso created by crear.exe as the source
 - enter title ID, picture location for png, use same name as reported by DEXBE
 - use same options in Iso2god as stated in earlier post (Same as other succesful converts)
 - start iso2god, when finished, run god2xb1.exe on the 44k file to fix hash
 - rename 00007000 folder to 00005000, and copy the 4d53001e folder (and subfolders) that was created to the 0000000000000000/  folder
 - game icon shows up in xblive list (as an Xbox originals game) , the "X" on white background appears, screen does a quick blink, remains on same screen for a couple more seconds and then i get the  (This original xbox game has encountered a problem and can't continue. for more info , blah blah.   E:5805  B: 1884.0

Ive done about 10 games so far and havent come across this type of error.

The GoD size of this game is over 4.5GB, if i remember right i remember reading somwhere that the max container size is 4GB?  (this s the only game i have done that is over 4 GB)

 anyone any ideas ?
