Zouzzz released Yaris-Swap v0.8. Couple questions/

How exactly do you get your XUID?

Putting it in Yaris-Swap, what does it do? (I'm guessing it's to fix game saves?)

Certain types of content need (avatar DLC) it, and no, not game saves that I know of.

This version works great, I transfer stuff I bought on my unbanned 360 to my banned one all the time with it.

But, it'd be nice if I didn't have to save FTP information in order to be able to save my XUID.  I prefer to use FlashFXP instead of the built-in FTP, but it won't save without something filled in there.

Yo guys im trying to get a xbla game running on my xbr system but it asks me for a system update. The game toy soldiers is running fine on my stock system wich is also running on 8955 so im a bit confused. Its patched with yaris swap so what am i missing?

You'll need to look into this possibility:

When I updated mine, games asked me to update, but it was an Avatar update or something. Once I accepted it, everything worked fine on all games and none ever asked me to update again.

Don't just accept it though, without looking into it further...as the wrong update would disable any form of JTAG exploitation AFAIK.

You need a profile that has seen live atleast once, copy it to your pc somewhere, then you can use Le Fluffie to open your profile and retrieve your xuid number. Well all I've used the xuid number for is patching avatar content its not needed from xbla games.

Glad it worked, but for future reference, how do you determine which update it is talking about? I have a friend JTAGging now, and I want to be able to advise him on this.
