How To Ftp Xbox 360 From Ubuntu Desktop

Sounds like you're using the FTP thing built in to nautilus or whatever file manager Ubuntu is using these days, that isn't a very robust FTP client.

Use Filezilla. Remember to set the FTP mode to passive instead of active (Or is it the other way around? tongue.gif).

Those other FTP clients you listed will work too just do the passive/active thing, I think it's passive.

I'd recommend NCFTP - it's console-mode but works.

Also, XexMenu or Freestyle? Freestyle had HORRIBLE FTP support, MANY clients broke with it, but the new one (in the most-recently-dated forum thread) fixed them, and now it's better than XexMenu. Update your Freestyle, and/or use XexMenu for your FTP.
