@Juvenal1228 It's kinda rude (not to mention illegal) ripping off the nand reconstruction code from nand compare, without asking or even giving credit.

Thanks for the great app, will save a lot of time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Going to test it out tonight..will post if any bugs found.

Just wonder if/how this app will handle bad blocks?

Edit: oddly the post of PleXo's that I replied to was deleted while I replied to it.

QUOTE(PleXo @ Mar 5 2010, 07:53 PM) *

what ? please show the proof that he ripped off the code?

Feel free to compare the code yourself (assuming you have no law against decompilation in your country), as I said (after you posted) whole sections copied verbatim, including long string messages.

i dont really see what the problem is unless you have 100% proof that the code was ripped.

Well I do, as I say compare the code for yourself. And then there is the confession to go on top of it. So, given that I do have proof that my code was taken, without permission or even credit, I assume you can now see why I am not all that happy. I posted one line expressing my annoyance, and this could have been sorted with a one line apology and the offer of a credit. There has been no apology, the offer of the credit was made and then withdrawn (because s/she thinks I'm being unreasonable - presumably just because I pointed it out in pubic).

QUOTE
what about the game companies that are "loosing out" in money from you supplying the tools to hack xboxes with ease..

These tools have a legitimate home brew use (yes, I am aware than they may get used for other purposes).

I removed my offer for credit because of your last post, and i think you can understand why.

check the download again, and try not to post again in my thread again. i will be adding a user agreement in my future versions preventing decompilation.

if you want your 15 minutes of fame you got it. but in my eyes all you were trying to do was get your name on something, and it had no benefit to the scene.

and i KNOW that taking this public had no benefit to anyone.

Until you guys get this figured out I am going to close this thread. If you all get it worked out and want it reopened just send a mod a PM and someone will reopen it.
