Streaming From Pc Hdd Locks Up Xbmc :-(

I tried to watch my first Full movie tonight via XBMC.

Reproducable case:
Got the feb 1 build of xbmc, trying to play a xvid via browsing for it on my PC via the workgroup share. Using Linksys wireless gaming adapter (B, 11mb) and a linksys wireless G router.

The first 10 mins or so the movie runs fine, but after that it locks up...
any ideas, it feels like some sort of bufferning problem to me...is the played video discarded afer it is buffered? I guees a possible cuase could be a lack of HDD space, (just a thought). I do have about 600mb free, but the viseo is 900mb.

In any case, I'd really like some thoughts or input on a possible resoultion to this one!
