Just tried Way of the Samurai 3 with region free patch. Packs to 2.83GB size but crashes on loading screen. Works fine from plain files dumped on HDD and loaded via XexLoader.

So the program still blows Game Size up when you have multiple ISOs  queued, and Still errors when multiple ISOs are queued, and it doesn't recognize some Game Names, but is fixed by manually typing.

Looks as if the Batch Conversion needs to not be an Option.

Also, would be nice if it would Default the Output Path to Source, and change if necessary, and a Default Temp Directory for Full Rebuild would be nice, and really should be the only option, what's the point in keeping and unnecessary data?

One more thing, if it finds a Image for the Game in the ISO, you should be able to Save that Image.

The tool is only available to licensed developers, so while I'm not sure it has a price, it's definitely not "free" in most meanings of the word and you won't find it linked here.
This said, it belongs to the 360 SDK, or XDK, which was leaked on the Internet some time ago.

Well look at that... seems I'm a "licensed" developer. I get an error message about missing a required file from the layout (su2008d200_00000000 in my case). Is this normal? I then go onto saving the layout file and pre-mastering to iso which seems ok. I haven't tested anything out yet on the 360, but am curious if the missing file is normal for what we're trying to accomplish?

Thanks for your help...

Hmm.  I extracted one of my games a while ago, and rather than redoing the rip, I tried to create a 360 iso of the folder via exiso, and now ISO2GOD doesn't recognize the default xex.  I've never attempted to use it before so I can't say for sure whether it worked or not in previous versions.

Though, since the app is now capable of rebuilding ISOs anyway, why not just let us specify a folder or an ISO image?

And just for fun, I tried putting in an ISO I attempted to make of ME2's discs both combined into a 9GB ISO.  That just crashed the program on "Creating Live Header".

im getting an error when i try to load an iso.
IPB Image

im running windows 7 ultimate 32bit.

AV: AVG free

i have also tried with windows Xp mod virtual pc for windows 7, didnt wok either.

i have also tried to enable compatability mode and adminstrator mode, didnt work either.

old version of iso2god without xextoold works, so it seems the xextools.exe givs the problem.

any suggestions of what to do??

thanx

NVM. found it. damn AVG Caused it tongue.gif

cheers

p.s the new Sonic Racer All Star Game didnt work with partial mode. froze @ logo. it worked with non mode.

I just tried Mass Effect (The first one) and it ran through ISO2GOD fine, but when I bring it to the Xbox and try to run it I get a 'Can not launch Mass Effect' error. It was ripped with partial padding settings. I know I did it 'right' because I just did Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno with the same settings and they both run fine. Should I just Schtrom it or is there a setting to make it work?

absolutely wonderful program.

but heres a big improvement/idea

include an FTP server and upload each file as it is created, then delete it from the PC

it will save space and time.

Further to my last question, if I installed ME2 as per Spegs12's instructions (although I don't think 454108CE2 is a valid folder name, at least ISO2GOD insists that it should only be 8 characters long, so perhaps using 454108CF instead), wouldn't I have to install all DLC twice, under both discs' folders?

What I did was convert them normally and then just rename the output file (454108CE) and folder (454108CE.data) of one of the discs. Make sure you set the output location differently for each or the first one will be overwritten.

Its not a virus.
Alot of  homebrew apps will come up as viruses, but in all reality they are not.

I just figured that if ISO2GOD said the folder names should be 8 characters that this might be a requirement on the 360 as well for it to recognise the folder.

What about DLC anyway? Does that have to go under both discs' folders for it to work throughout the game?

my AVG was coming up with the warning about xextool, but it appears to be safe as long as you watch where you download it from and according to the other reports here about False Positive.

Other than that i am having no issues running it and going to check out the new 1.2 version just posted.
