Never heard of either one.
Well, pretty much any achievement "tool" you've ever seen is based off of SuperModder's code. So everyone can think him for any and all Profile Tool/Profile Editor you've ever seen. If any of you have ever gamesaved in your life. You can thank me. It's quite probable you enjoyed my hard work. Now who "truly" came up with a lot of the 360 repair and jtagging ideas...hmmm
So, please don't sit here and try to belittle or bad mouth any of us. We've contributed far more to the "Scene" than almost anyone here. And yes, I do get annoyed when people start attacking things they have no right to
either because they don't understand or just feel entitled. Everyone benefits and has benefited from the work of a few people. You can almost count on your fingers the people who keep the "scene" alive. Some of us put long hours and spend lots of our free time doing things simply for other people like yourselves... Why not stop to say "thanks" instead of trying to put something down. I can honestly only think of a very select few who actually have any right to criticize anything. Seriously, be thankful people took time to do these things. If all people get is negative feedback and crap from others, what do you think is gonna happen? It's all gonna go away. If you choose not to use a program or just feel like it has nothing to offer you, then fine. But don't sit around putting it down. Think about this.... This program took 5 months to create/code/check bugs and errors/redesign/etc. When have you ever taken 5 months to work on something every second of your free time and then just honestly give it away for FREE so that others may benefit from all your work.
It would be a much healthier and better community all around everywhere if everyone could stop for 5 minutes and think differently... examples:
Commodore4eva:
(even though truthfully F/W mods existed before him, he made great strides with the Bennys and the Lite Ons when no one else could) When you are flashing your Lite On, are you bitching at him for it not being easier? Or are you thinking "this is great! Now I can play backups (of your own retail games of course..lol)
Do you know how many hours he probably spent figuring out how it was done.. for FREE, for YOU!
Supermodder:
Ever used any Achievement modifying program or hash block calculator? You need to send this man some thanks then. He's the pioneer of all achievement tools in existence. None would exist without him. Long hours, yet again. But, he charged for it. It was $150 when it first came out. People complained about it being so much, but much more were exceedingly happy with his work and what they could now do... Coincidentally, his work made what I was doing much less important, and to an extent made me happy...
Azraelrs:
Ever used any gamesaves? Chances are you've played with my work. That's right, it was me playing that game for 150+ hours so you didn't have to. To sit and play a horrible game for so many hours just to help others. How much have you paid for a save/saveset? None, all that was FREE. Mine is actually the worst, you never really get thanks. Someone leeches it, uploads it elsewhere and takes all the credit, you never even truly exist. There (were) quite a few people like this who did everything just to help the "scene" and keep it alive. And we are the ones who are truly thanked the least. Ever repaired your console? You might owe me some credit for that too. I am not the only one who has provided ideas and solutions, and there are some who have came along and provided better ones, and they are constantly improving, so I'm not taking any credit away from lots of great thinkers who have figured out tons of stuff and improved the repair knowledge beyond what Microsoft will actually do. And all that knowledge was shared... for FREE.
Dark Slipstream: If you've used one of many PC programs involving 360, you have probably been playing with his work. And everything I've seen come out him is free. With 360 Evolution, I was there the whole time, months and months of this. Me downloading 12 billion copies of the app and trying to break it, test the code, use, abuse, and find all errors. And now after so many months, here it is, for FREE.
There are quite a few others to thank if you ever see them, they are no less important and helped make everything you see around you, and everything that you use. I didn't purposely not mention or ignore them. I am just tired. To name a few more off the top of my head... Caleb Ragnarok, Eaton, Cyrax, the whole 360gs grew for really bringing game saving into the light, and more that aren't on the top of my head, but they are just as relevant.
Please think about these things next time you start wanting to complain and feel like you are "owed" something more. What if every person listed above charged you for every one of those things? How healthy do you think the "scene" would be right now?

No sane person would pay to do something that DJ's program can do for free. The program has no selling point.
Unknown... this post makes no sense whatsoever. And you've been around long enough to know. There isn't an achievement unlocker even in this app. How can you compare the 2 when they don't do the same thing?
And one
more
time
It has no "selling point" because it isn't being sold. It's free!
I guess to get it through all of your heads, maybe every needs to start charging for everything. Maybe you will be more appreciative for all that you ahve available when it's gone.
So: I propose a $200 charge for (one) drive specific and locked copy of iXtreme
$500 for every jtag hack you do. (and a $10 charge for every hombrew you install.
Gamesaves (not a great point since no one really does that anymore) will be $5 per save per usage.
All profile tools/editors charge a $10 fee per usage. (everytime you open the app, you will have to Make a $10 payment before it will respond.
Sound good? NO? Well, then be happy you don't have to pay for any of that. Someone gave their time and hard work, just for you, at no charge.
