whats the advantage of using ISO2GOD rather than just placing the game folder on the hard drive under \games\?

Its first intention to create few several MB live container file and you can easily transfer the data to 360 instead of thousand small file and also run directly from NXE.

Now what I understand you have to extract the game then build ISO then extract again with ISO2GOD then transfer it to 360. Now the entire process take more time than simply transfer the game using Thumb drive or FTP.

You get to boot directly from the NXE, you get all your games to show up in the "Quick Launch" that comes up by using the guide button if you want to switch between them, and you don't have to manually patch the xex for title updates.

well that sounds a lot better than what I was planning on doing.  Do the games load slower using this method (ISO2GOD)?

This is just a gui for exiso.exe which does all the work it can extract an iso aswell as rebuild from a folder it can even ftp and extract to a folder on the fly with the right cmds,I think you should of at least mentioned this and thanked the original creator of exiso as its misleading to let people think that your gui is doing the work.

OMG! I just had to post because this is correct. Only thing that could save the "author" now is if he created exiso aswell. Otherwise, this gui is a complete rip off. And yes, it is less functional than exiso. This is incredibly bad. Could be a virus.

Note: Gui crashes and burns on win7. Iso2God also crashes on win7 too. Looks like win32 or bust for these 2 apps (exiso still works though). This is very disappointing I can't play with these.

is there anyway to go from nxe format to an iso or extract the raw files? I had a couple games that I could not get to rip in xexmenu(kept locking up or was taking forever), so i had to rip them using nxe but now the problem is I can't play them from usb.  i'd rather save my internal drive for DLC stuff like rock band songs and live arcade games.
unless there is way to play nxe/god games from usb?

sounds good,

So can somebody confirm, if I have my backup in a folder on my HDD for example

COD4.iso
COD4.dvd

I could just use this program on my PC to turn COD4.iso into a Game on Demand file? and then FTP it to my Xbox? -

And is it possible to convert all of my ISO's and then plug in a USB hdd to my Xbox and copy them from that? or does it have to be FTP?

Thanks

You use ISO2GOD on the iso and then copy the folder on to your XBOX Hard Drive, If you want to rmove the excess space instead of using 7.5gb then use x360Scrub on the iso first then ISO2GOD.

I'm not sure why this app helps....unless its better at reducing space requirement?

X360scrub can be found here http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=705056

As for FTP vs USB thats your own choice:)
