Team XeLove released x360Scrub:

x360Scrub will make an ISO as small as possible by removing garbage data

Instructions:
1) Open the ISO you want to scrub in xbox image browser and create a layout file for the ISO
2) Open x360Scrub and follow instructions there

ToDo:
- Remove the need to manually create layout file
- Add better error handling

*Update* v0.2b has been released.
What's new/fixed:
- Fixed some bugs with percentage display

Stupid question but where does one obtain .lyt files from?

NVM, Ive worked out how to create them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

In Homebrew you can change it to a Games on Demand file and run it from hard drive. I don't see any other reason for it though unless you can play a game off a DVD5 but I wouldn't think there would be that much garbage on 95% of discs. I would still be using a DVD9 so there would be no point in adding the extra step.

Its not for a iso loader . But this is good if u use ISO2GOD. Since ISO2GOD doesnt "scrub" all the junk files. The combination of both apps will save u hdd space.

Good deal, but we're worse off than Wii users when it comes to burning as any ISOs generated with this scrubbed data will still need a DVD9 (not referring to JTAG users). Since it breaks stealth, of course it's unsafe on Live. Still, a much needed tool. Maybe some time we'll have a way to rebuild ISOs (like Wii has) and not break stealth.

how did you make one i didnt see anything in the readme about how to do this i Google this and didnt have any luck either..thanks

load the ISO with "Xbox image Browser" and click "File" and then "Create Layout" there you go.
Now load this file into x360Scrub and then the iso and let it do its work

this looks good, scrubbing baa ill let you know the outcome on file size, we should get a list of what games scrub down to
