well it dosent work for me
patched autospeed.xex with the apply option in the patcher to full speed(100)
tried to load it with xex menu
and then it told me the game could not be started
tried to reboot to see if it maybe worked but no change fans are still not running in 100%
any help?

I got exactly the same problem, using XBR v3 on a Jasper 16mb.

Any help, please?

Weird. 100 and 80 work fine, but if I try 70 I get an E71. Any reason 70 shouldn't work on a Falcon?

Would someone be that nice and send me his 80% / 100% file via PN?

I just can't get it to work.  sad.gif

UPDATE: The 70 I made using the patch files would give the E71 error, but going to the usual places and getting the fanspeed stuff from there included a 70 xex that worked just fine. Weird, but if it works I'm not complaining! laugh.gif

I found that if you accidently patch the same autospeed twice that is the cause of E71

Grab a new rar of autospeed.xex, drag it over to an unrarred patching folder. patch 10speed drag new auto patch 20speed drag a new auto.

You get the rest  wink.gif

You have to patch Autospeed.xex from fantools.zip in the _old folder.

With the big block jaspers you should use the old fantools with patcher by ddxcb to patch what speed you want. More info can be found at http://www.xboxhacke...p?topic=13841.0

Its not because of the 100%, its the SMC, my falcon did that a lot of times.

Ah, that makes sense. No worries then and thank you for making this possible ddxcb!

Its outdated use 360 flash dump tool .94 for smc editor.

so im guessing I just take the freeboot image before I flash it to my xbox 360 nand and change the fan speed through the edit config option and then save? is that saved image safe to flash to the 360 nand?

I have checked for the old folder, and I don't see it. Can someone have someone add fantools.zip to the usual places?

It's all still there, under /XBOX 360/development/system apps/
