Are you using version 1.0.0.12?  There was a fix package error in the earlier version.
It should work, I have not tried it yet.  Keep in mind that it will copy the garbage data too unless you remake the ISO to only contain the game files.

yep Build's: Le Fluffie: 69.0.0.2 --- X360: 1.0.0.12

Request: Please load external bg file at startup. No offense to you or your taste in art but it would be nice if we could change/remove the pic without having to compile the program.

Is there any way to do this with the data taken from XEXloader copy dvd function? I left my games at home and I just have them on the HDD. I read that you can see the achievements and launch the full game from NXE with this, which is awesome, but I cant/dont want to copy the games over allll over again.

Also, is this under "Le Fluffie SEX.2 App.zip" on his filefront? I couldn't tell which one was which and it has a wierd name if that's the right one aha.

It is.

Does anyone know how to use your own kv.bin with Le Fluffie?

I've extracted mine from my nand dump using 360 flash tool 0.90 after obtaining my CPU key and ended up with both encoded and decoded KV.bin files.

After looking at the hex on both the Le Fluffie kv.bin and my extracted ones it seems that the decoded kv.bin seems the way to go but when I replace the kv.bin in Le Fluffie it just crashes on startup!
Restoring the original kv.bin makes it work again.

No need to replace it with your own KV.bin keep the one that came with the program and select
"Dev LIVE", "Games on Demand" leave "Hash" UNticked then "fix package".

Great stuff  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

As I was following this thread, I wrote out the guide for myself to make it a little clearer to me and my thick skull. Maybe others might find it useful, so here go's

QUOTE
Install a game on the xbox as you would have before hacking it.

Now browse your Xbox HDD with XeXLoader and find that game, it will be under Content\000000000000000\Title_ID_of_Installed_Game\00004000\
It should be at the bottom of the list, but you can also use http://360.kingla.com/ to find the Title ID of games for future reference.

Create a folder called 00007000 so that you now have 00004000 and 00007000 in the same folder.

Copy the contents of 00004000 to 00007000

Delete 00004000

Copy the single file (it's called a pirs container and will be named what looks like a random bunch of letters/numbers) from the root of 00007000 to your USB stick and take it to your PC

There is a folder of the same name, but as you will see, we don't need to use the files it contains.

On your PC, create a temp folder containing blank .txt files renamed to Data0000 Data0001... (without the .txt extension)
apcarr has kindly provided a folder with these files already created (up to Data0050) for download http://www.sendspace.com/file/3klgf7
This stops you having to copy those files over from the 360. I placed the temp folder in the Le Fluffie folder.

If a game ever needs more than 50 of these files, (you can see how many are needed in the folder mentioned above) just create the rest. (copy and paste a bunch of them and rename them Data0051 Data0052...

Download and run Le Fluffie on your PC (Le Fluffie SEX.2 App.zip) LINK

Use Le Fluffie to open the file on your USB stick

When it asks for a data directory, just point it to the temp folder that contains those Data0000 files

In the drop down box, select GameOnDemand

Click Dev LIVE

Then click fix package (Do not tick hash).

Now copy the file back to your xbox replacing the old one.

The game will now be available from the dash under Xbox 360 Games, will have the achievements listed, and won't ask for disc.

Big thanks to DJ Shepherd, dstruktiv, apcarr and everybody involved in this awesomeness (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

To use your own KV.bin extract it with
360 Flash Tool ver.88a and use your decrypted one.
You can use the kv.bin from .90 but just remove the first 16 bytes from the begingining of KV.bin so it ends with a offset of 0x00003FF0 not 0x00004000

I tried this last night.  Dumped the whole game to a USB stick, copied to PC (will replace later with much smaller .txt files) and first accidentally patched it wrong, so I repatched the same file correctly and copied it back to the 360.  Game didn't load.  Is it because I patched the same file twice?  Need to retry with original container again (correctly the first time).  If it works for me I will be happy to use this for those games that refuse to copy with Xexloader (I'm looking at YOU, Dragon Age).  I refuse to manually copy tons of little folders.

And this is why DJ App is better than anyones out there its free and to make it better open source, and he doesn't charge anyone and have a donate buttton. which thats how it should be tongue.gif

Actually, there IS a donate button. Just click "Application" in the toolbar on the top left, then click "About." Not sure if you were talking about this app, or DJ Shepherd specifically.

That being said, why do you think that "Donate" buttons have no place. It's not like this stuff develops itself. These guys work hard, even if it is a hobby. They are under no obligation to share this code with us, but they do, and offering people a way to show gratitude and recompense is a great thing.

Instructions:

Rip a couple of games to HDD using NXE.

Copy NXE2GOD.xex to a usb stick.

Execute it using XexLoader.

BE PATIENT - It's writing a $#!t load of debug output to your usb stick which is SLOW, in the release version debug will be disabled and it will be a few hundred % quicker (at least).

When you run it you will see a black screen, as above it may sit there for a while (1 - 2 minutes MAX), then NXE will come back up.

Go in to your Xbox 360 Games in NXE and try run each game that you have just ripped (Without the disk in obviously) - They *should* work Smiley

IF something doesn't work or the app freezes etc then I need to see the debuglog.log that was created in the same dir as NXE2GOD.xex when you ran it.

IF it does work then well...  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif)

I need a couple of beta testers, this app means you don't have to copy anything to PC to do the conversion. PM me if you want to test.

someone posted this same question earlier but no one's answered

Is it possible to somehow reuse games ripped by xexloader, without having to rip them again through nxe.
My Xenon doesn't have a DVD drive, so I've been transferring all my games by extracting the ISO file on my PC.  Is there any way to modify these files to work like the NXE rips?

Also, is there any way to have these run off an external HD, not the SATA based one?
