THANK YOU!

64-bit support is so much more convenient for a lot of people.  Tons of people like me have a 32-bit partition just for flashing and this is great.

Thanks to all who were involved and keep up the great work!

makes it 10 times easier to flash those new 93450c drives. no more need to open up hex editor etc.

thanks team!

bloody rights? windows based flashing for all drives?

Has anyone made a working usb adaptor now so we dont even need to reboot the pc?

I have the old x360 made by executer I think from ages ago. will that work with this? smile.gif
i flash using my server pc. so not having to reboot would be a great addon smile.gif
Thanks guys!

When do you need to reboot your pc? Granted you need access to a Sata cable but no need to reboot.

Really? i always thought you needed to hook up sata with pc off. than boot up?

i havnt flashed a drive in over a year. i guess theres even more catching up to do.

But a usb method would be ideal, as I could than use my laptop!

One question..

If I want to revert my Liteon back to stock all I need to do is load dummy.bin as source then the stock fw in target then spoof source to target right?

Just missed the opportunity to try this out on Win7 64bit by a few hours. Just flashed a BenQ this afternoon before this news. Oh well, glad to see I don't have to boot back into WinXP for the next one.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nice work as usual, you guys are the best!!

I noticed that  on my Vista x86 partition, portio32.sys is in my Windows/System32/drivers folder. Do we still need to do the install method with portio64? I don't see the driver inf in this release except the 64-bit of portio.sys.

Also, will flashing Hitachi, BenQ, and Samsung work out just fine under x64?

I would love to install this on my Windows 7 x64 and remove Vista to gain back 50GB of space smile.gif

Thanks for any help wink.gif

EDIT: Nevermind, I see that the JungleFlasher manual has been updated with x64 instructions finally! biggrin.gif

You don't have to power off to plug in a SATA drive, but you may want to if you have fans that are like jet engines.

can anyone post what they did on windows 7 or vista x64 version? I open JF 0.1.69 in administrator mode and it can never install portio64.sys at all.

and yes I did follow the instructions in the portio-kai readme

I guess I am an idiot, but I am having trouble with the windows 7 x64 portio64.sys installation.  I have used the DSEO program before.

So I place portio64.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers and then run DSEO entering that path to sign that as a system file and then I am enabling test mode.

Then I right click jungleflasher and click run as administrator and I still get the "Can't install the portio64.sys driver" error message.

I have tried this with my via drivers installed and without.

I have done things like this before (like TCP-Z) so I assume I am missing some easy, stupid step and over thinking this.

I was afraid to ask this question, but since this is new there is very little information on it and I search and tried a dozen different things.

Any help for a stupid person?
