Jtagged Xbox - Transferred Content Not Showing Up On Xbox
« on: December 29, 2009, 06:10:00 PM »

Well, I got it working, but I did 2 things at the same time, so I'm not sure which it was.

1.  I burned 2 xbla titles (unlocked by yaris) to content\0000000000000000\ etc to a dvd.
Placed the dvd in the drive and played both games to verify they work.
then I took the harddrive and connected it to the PC as described above and used xport to view it.
Now the content directory exists on the harddrive (which is didn't before), but not the 0000000000000 directory, so I made that.  At this point I noticed that all the directories on my harddrive where showing a date of nov 22 2005 and the new directories I was making where showing up as "invalid date and time".
So I went into windows and changed the time of my pc to nov 22 2005.  Then I went back and re-created the 0000000000 directory under content.

Here's the weird thing... now the date on my newly created folders shows up as something something something 2009, even though my PC date is 2005.... WEIRD...

Anyway, put the harddrive back on and I could play the two unlocked xbla titles.  Then I discovered the burned DVD was still in the drive.  Removed it and could still play.  removed harddrive and copied Viper dashboard to the HD and put it back on the xbox and now I can load that too.

So, I'm not sure if the xbox needed the content folder to already be on the drive or if when I was creating the folders, I was getting and invalid time\date stamp, which was remedied by changing the date on my pc.

Maybe this will help someone else who has this problem.
