Can't get it to work. I getthis error message when I try to prepare the xell pathed nand:
"A error occurred during the script excecution. Try to run it manually under Cygwin to identify the problem"

You get this error if you don't fill ing ALL the data. The app requires SMC.bin,Orig.bin,your cpukey and your mobo type to work.

No. That was not the problem.

When you install CygWin remember to choose additional packages for installation. Choose  "python" and "python-crypto".

Ok. I got the .bin files created. It does not work however. I got black screen or RRoD 0022.

I made the .bin files following the freeBOOT guide and that worked. I just skipped the parts 8-9 and used the files from 8955.zip instead.

Using cygwin was a little bit tricky. I copied the freeboot folder to c:\cygwin\home\username\.
I needed the smc.bin file. It can be created with Cygnos360 toolbox. I copied the smc.bin to the freeboot folder and then wrote these commands to the cygwin console:
cd freeboot
python build.py bin/jasper_hack.bin smc.bin
Then flashed the my8955.bin and hack.bin to the Cygnos360 V2 and Xbox 360 NAND.

I thought the Cygnos chip would allow you to have a "dual boot" environment, utilizing a second dashboard if necessary. Is that not correct?

When you're doing the manual method, what version of XeLL are you specifying in the 'python build.py ...' command line? Is there any chance the version of XeLL which this app uses is different? Run fc /b against both versions and see where the differences are. FTR I ran this for my last cygnos install and it worked like a charm.
