the profile fix takes a grand total of 2 minutes why bother with anything else
if you have any kernal but 8955 i would guess the profile fix is the only way around profile corruption
as you would need a good secdata file to replace the banned one and i doubt there will be away to put that on
a 8955 box
your save games don't get corrupted they are perfectly usable only your profile becomes corrupt
it may say corrupt on save but it isent copy saves to memory card for banned box use hard drive on unbanned one easy

bad block mover is for pre built nand file checking i believe search google for site called se7sins
find the guide on how to uncorrupt profile there is don't already know ...

Ok, I just downloaded and read about the program. However I'm not sure what file I open with Yiffer.. Where is the KV file on my 360 hard drive? Or is this something that I need a hardware device (other than my hd transfer tool and xplorer-extreme) in order to do?

would you like to correct your writing in bold the 8955 secdata can be overwritten with a spear one from the nand...it has been done already...hell there's more then 1 program to do this on a 8955 nand already
with the 7 wire lpt trick or a infectus1 or 2......am i missing something here?

Thank you, I got the Yiffer part down, but what I want to do is continue make it so when i save a game on a banned xbox that that data doesn't get saved funky.

I want to fix the console profile or whatever so that everything works like before it was banned (saved games, hard drive installs, etc.) .. I understand it will still be banned though.

Do you need hardware to use the nand tools that are out? The tools run in windows and need to see the xbox.. is soldering stuff to the mother board the only way currently to make that happen?

I've attempted to use Yiffer on a number of files and I keep getting the pop-up that says "error". Any idea why this is happening?
