Probably it's just because it's a patcher. Heuristics can be a little harsh sometimes.
I don't think it's meant to patch actual ISOs.
XeXTool is meant to extract data and patch/modify .xex files

used "Create Iso Compatible for Iso2God" program to make an iso.. came out to 2gb
burned it to DVD-R .. put in dvd drive and it played just fine..
only problem.. i think since its a DVD-R, i can't install to HDD using NXE
I'm hesitant to make an ISO out of the files I dumped and modified since they turned out to be 3.20GB
Since I can't perform the JTAG hack on my console, and I burn that new, smaller ISO onto a DVD-R, will it play?
What I really wanted to do was to replace the default.xex that's already in my original ISO with the new modified default.xex,
Is there a way to do that? And would that even be effective?
edit:
using this tool:
http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=516149I loaded my PAL .ISO, went to Image Tools> Image Browser
I can see the default.xex file
When I right-click on it, I get the option to "Replace file with.."
So I replaced the original default.xex with the modified default.xex
It was successful in replacing the file.
Then I used Schtrom360X_V4.1 to Stealth Check the new modified ISO (with the Region Free default.xex)
And it was reported as being Region Free now..
I'm going to burn it to a disc and I'll post back in a couple minutes to see if it works out.
