MODFREAKz released a new version of 360 Flash Dump Tool(info): Since Robinsod released the source of "360 Flash Dump Tool" and stopped developing a few people decided to continue develop this great app. This tool will allow you to decrypt/encrypt and extract various parts of a XBOX360 flash dump and much more!! Note: Jasper dumps are not supported in this version, largeblock is being worked on. What's new/fixed: - Bugfix, regarding to CD decryption. If you have a 1920+ CD version it doesn't decrypt CD properly. (by arnezami) - Bugfix, if a CPU key starts with 00 then the program crashed. Now I know that the 256/512 Jaspers are being left out of all these frackin updates on purpose.  Bullshit.  Whats the "real" reason?

until a legitimate "hack" for those models comes out (i know the jtag works.. but not on all of them) they wont be updating for those models much... thats the only thing i can think of

From what I understand...(not that much) most people who program are just assuming that everyone will use a smaller 16mb size of the larger nands and basically forget the rest of the nand just treating it like a smaller nand anyways.  Did I say nand enough?  
I wont blindly flash my 512 jasper because I cannot check its integrity out with flashtool.  And I dont like the idea of only partially flashing the beginning part of the nand...

you need to have some balls to flash jasper 256/512mb nand but it works fine with xell

Too bad xbreboot is not compatible yet, but i hope it will be resolved soon, it's not only the size that's different, the blocks are also.

I'm new to working with the nand dumps but with this can I get my cpu and dvd keys off of a motherboard that has been updated to the latest dashboard? or do you still need to be on the old dashboard.

I hear ya.  I've dumped my 256 Nand 5 times now and only software I've been able to check it with is Total Commander.  Im ready to start writing now but would feel MUCH happier if some of these purpose built apps would work with it.

Exactly...I just cant bring myself to flash blind.  If I knew how to code I would do it...
