Recording Videos (with Software)
« on: November 30, 2009, 12:21:00 AM »

I am looking into creating Commentaries, montages, gameplays, ect of some Xbox Games. I am not able to get a Capture Card currently. I play my Xbox through my PC Screen and PC Speakers. Im curious that since my xbox is plugged into my PC Tower is it possible to get a recording program or something of the sort to record instead?

Please help, thanks(:

I have an old and outdated setup video and it shows exactly how my 360 setup is the only difference is I have an elite now.
Here is my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/xKrypToNiiTe It should be the latest video on there. (I only have 4 videos so its easy to find anyway) If you don't see it on there it is because it has not completely uploaded/processed yet.

Just skip the video until 1:30

I just ordered a vga to rca/svideo and vga splitter so I can record with my svideo/composite(rca) capture card, it was made before the year 2000 and it still works, you can get cheap capture options online, just don't expect to play through them, just split the signal and set your pc to record. I hope it works, I dont see why not unless the VGA to RCA/SV is something special for laptops, they said check for compatibility.
