Help With Slow Burning

i'm pretty sure it's been asked before but can someone direct me to the thread that tells you how to fix the burning speed from .3x to 2.4x on xbox backup creator that is running on vista?

burn with imgburn, and if you've got a 'good' burner and are using verbatim dvd+r dl, burn at 4x
