It would probably be wise to explain explain or even link to how to use the program. I figured it out, but it's not my post and you KNOW there will be someone coming in here whose gonna ask:

"So I downloaded it and now what do I do?"

Also had to make sure to open it in WordPad. My damn computer defaulted it to NotePad and it came out all mashed together.

Good work tho

Works perfectly with my WD2500BEVS-00VAT0. I have copied whole partition 3 (exclude games installed on HDD), it was ~10GB. Everything works
Thanks

Anyone got a way to add music? I know its only possible to rip from a cd but maybe we can convert mp3's to aac and then add to partition 2?

And thanks for the updated program (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The Good:
  * Drag and drop content to and from (inject/extract) confirmed working on both Partitions 2 and 3.

The Bad:
  * Do not use any sort of backup or restore image features with this patched version.
  * Do not use this version with 20, 60, or 120 gig drives.  sad.gif

The Details:
  * Changed the cluster chain length value to 00 08 39 at offset 0xF0C2.

The Credits:
  * roofus and anger for the original Xplorer360.
  * TheSpecialist for his details on getting it to work with 120gb drives.
  * xamp (me) for patching it to work on 250gb drives.

Just download the xtreme2 version if you don't already have it and use it for your 20 and 120 drives.

Hey, whenever I try to inject a folder, it acts like it's copying (and takes fucking ages) but then when it finishes, there's nothing there. What the hell?

sometimes if you click into another partition, then back to the partition you copied to, it'll show up, otherwise, try to close the program, then reopen

No, I mean it's not copying. Like, if I do a "new folder", that'll show up, but importing a folder won't. Yeah, even after restarting the program. Or, for that matter, after taking the drive and plugging it into my 360.

For some reason drag& drop won't work for me so I need to go through the menus. Are the menus broken? Is that it?

I am having the same problem.  I can insert individual files and they will show up but not whole folders.

you should try and use the xplorer360 extreme 2 version, cause that one still seemed to be able to add and delete stuff, but it just wouldn't see stuff

how are you plugging the drive into your computer?

I had to use one of the mini-usb to SATA power/data thingies that I ripped out of an external hard drive, and it showed up immediately, but wouldn't with the standard SATA conection

OH sorry, didn't see you were able to do some stuff, yeah it was pretty buggy for me, and the second drive I was doing gave me errors, but it still worked, so? I was able to import full folders
