Portio32 Help
« on: October 05, 2009, 07:53:00 AM »

Please help, i have tried to install PortIO32 multiple times. When i do the automatic install it says to install it tells me i need to install PortIO32.dll manually. If i do the manual install when it gets to the actual install it tells me it needs PartIO32.sys to continue. Im using winrar to download the folder and all of the files are in the folder under winrar, but when i convert it and put it on my desktop the files go away. I try to run it and it tells me portio32.sys is missing or invalid. I am running windows xp. Please help!!!!!! If there is any other way to flash, besides jungle flasher, tell me bout that if you cant help me on the portio32 prob, im tryin to flash a lite-on 74850c. Thank you

Hi there
your antivirus or firewall is removing the portio.sys file i had the same problem check your antivirus log files i bet you will find portio.sys quaranteened mcaffe sees this file as a trojan.
Disable your antivirus re download the portio drivers reinstall with your antivirus still disabled it should work you need to to prevent your antivirus seeing it as a threat or change to another antivirus i changed to avg seems to work fine
i hope this helps
