Trancy released a new version of Xflasher 360(info) on modcontrol.com. What's new/fixed: * Lite-On Lite-On 83850c support added * directory structure changed * added free-dos instead ms-dos * updated english and german * removed french support * using DosFlash(info) v1.8 for flashing * using Firmtool v1.4 and liteTool 0.2 for spoofing/key-changing * added support for Floppy-Disk (now you can copy 1. hacked firmware file on disk) * firmware filenames can be changed in "settings.ini" Official Site: By Trancy on modcontrol.com Download: here

Although I'm a huge fan of Jungle Flasher, it's always great to see new programs come out to help make flashing even easier.  It's great to have different options.  Thank you!  I have a couple of 360's that aren't flashed yet.  I will try this out on one of them.  It's always good to learn new methods.

come on dude i know i dont use the french launguage but at least its good for people that dont read english what if the author removed english support that u would cry if they say take that americans

even tho im american it should of not of been removed so support can be for everyone

I dont understand why someone put so many time in writing a program when there's allready a great tool like jf. Thx for the input but kinda useless if ya ask me.

What if you are unable to use Jungle Flasher?
ie, the drive can't flashed in JF because the PC crashed while erasing the FW.

^ that would render the drive undetectable in Windows/JF, resulting in an unflashable drive, & therefore useless.

That's where a dos based flasher comes in - it bypasses all the formalities such as a nice UI, & lets you do what you need to do to the drive manually.
