Yes, for Lite-On drives, my hardware always locks up after erase function on Windows based tools.  Frosty's super slick DOS methods have always saved the day for me.  I would definately donate and support an update to either USB or the Disc version of this app.  Both worked perfectly in the past.

Nope, I was just waiting for BenQ Xtreme LT to be released.

I'm currently working on '360 Modification Drive v1.7', should be released within a week or so.

This new version will have the following features:

- BenQ iXtreme LT support
- Lite-On iXtreme LT support
- Lite-On 74850/83850/93450 support

Gimme about a week to finish some testing and it will be ready for release.

I've got some bad news unfortunately...

I've run into a couple 'brick walls' as far as implementing iXtreme LT into my software (specifically spoofing of firmware)...

Due to these 'brick walls' it would seem that my development of '360 Modification USB Drive' and '360 Modification Disc' has come to a halt.

The future of my usb drive/disc based solutions are unclear, so for now I recommend using either JungleFlasher or iPrep, both are awesome solutions.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Theoretically yes, it will work just fine.

Most of my issues involve cross-drive spoofing (normal 'modding' of drives is fine), so yes, replacing the firmware file with the LT version should work fine with Revision 4.

I may be able to get past these spoofing issues, but it won't be released any time soon.

Maybe a month or two.

Thanks for the fast reply to my question frosty good to hear it will work fine using revision 1.6. i will just have to use jungle flasher for the two newer lite-on drives, but i do hope you get your new 1.7 revision worked out cause your methods are very quick, easy, and not any problems such as freezing wile flashing. Just wondering if someone can help me out...

I flashed my Sammy with iXtreme v1.6 (I believe I had used Frosty's USB v1.6 Rev3) and am looking to update it to v1.61 so I don't have to use the activation disc for Wave4 games.

Will the USB v1.6 Rev4 update the firmware to v1.61?

Frosty i was just curious if you are going to give the 1.7 revision another try once the sammy LT firmware is released or if this great little tool is going to be a thing of the past. I hope it stays and you are able to over come the issues that are in the way. Thanks for all the effort you have put in from the original xbox too the xbox 360 its always nice to see what creative ideas you come up with.

I have a BENQ IX 1.61

May I use this method to update my fw to LT+ ?
Do I only need to substitute the file:

360 Modification USB Drive v1.6 Revision 4.zip\360 Modification USB Drive Files\FILES\BENQ\FIRMWARE\IXTREME.BIN

with the file:

iXtreme-LT_Plus_Firmware.Pack.rar\iXtreme-LT_Plus_Firmware_Pack\Firmware\Benq_iXtreme_LT_Plus\LTPlus-benq.bin ? (off course renaming the LTPlus-benq.bin to IXTREME.BIN)

Can u guys help me from where i can find it to download??

I believe my 360 code name: zaphyre with samsung dvd drive. I am finding trouble in running the latest games like fable III, CODBO, and Army of Two - 40 day and sprinter cell conviction   . But my old games are running absolutely fine at this moment   . These games are like a year old.

So I think its the updation of mod is req for my 360 to run latest games   .
