Easiest Way To Mod My 360?

So since its obvious there isnt going to be any more hitachi drive updates for iXtreme, Ive decided to stop waiting for an update and just go with 1.5 ):

Now, if anyone is nice enough, can you list what I will need to flash my hard drive. I know about the PDF, and I will read it, I just would like if someone experienced could specifically list what Ill need.

Also, are dashboard updates, like the ones coming up, make it any more likely that my xbox can get banned easier?

Ill be using a gigabyte ga-ep45-ud3p motherboard as well.
