wow. this sucks. i autofixed UFC and Red Faction. My copy  of UFC seems to be fine, i guess it depends on the release. I guess it doesnt even matter at this point, I have played hours of Red Faction. I think if i do fix the DMI on it wont it just be more obvious since my copy of Red Faction will have two different DMI's ? Atleast thats how i think M$ might look at it. Can someone correct me if im wrong ?

Interesting. Should i wait a while now to safely play it? huh.gif

BTW Correct CRC should be=470B30FB

i patched Red Faction yesterday & adjusted angle 359.

my DMI is not the above mentioned 1A5575DDA1D2466C - so i guess its ok
the correct DMI is not mentioned in the main article, anyone know it?

I wouldn't adjust angles on the SS if I was you.

Why dont you just play your legit original copy until you get your backup sorted?

i wonder if the DMI was fine before the autofix. ABGX says its stealth either way. I fixed my copy of Red Faction just in case. That could have been a good or bad thing who knows. In the end, i dont really care. If i get hit with the hammer again ill just get a new console.

Probably a dumb statement, but I was checking the last couple of xbins LIVE logs and I do not see where the FW retrieves the DMI. I see PFI, SS etc. but I remember c4eva stating that DMI was no longer queried during boot. Seeing that no one else has mentioned this, I'm probably wrong as hell...but though I'd mention it.

Lol, My dmi hardly ever matches my games here in Tennessee.  So after awhile i decided to autofix them all (to be safe, lol), what a big mistake i guess.  So there are three we know of  sad.gif

I think i'm going to start reripping my games and leveling down my ABGX360 scans.

I think obylix is right I don't see DMI anywhere in the logs unless they are prepping for a ban wave which I have the logs from such times.

I know this will come off as absurd but it must be said

The xbins logs for the past few months have been edited within the past few hours. Previously, no trace of DMI in the comments for the commands was present until just recently as you have scouted out.

As in I had gone through them and CTRL+F -> "DMI" through all of those just to find out how worried I should be about ABGX's little screwup.

Here is the google cache of the most recent log, compare it for yourself

OLD: http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:o08IIy3WFnUJ:www.xbins.org/xblive/%3Fview%3D2009-05-27+http://xbins.org/xblive/%3Fview%3D2009-05-27&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a

NEW: http://xbins.org/xblive/?view=2009-05-27

And here's that same old log in case the cache is updated. So, what is the meaning of all this? This is some very strange timing for that to happen

Please God don't ban me, especially not on a moderate game like Red Faction, which i didn't really wanted to play in the first place but decided to do and now i'm risking it blink.gif
I was almost finished doing a sick casemod on it! I have the Team Hybrids Extreme fix and i'm the first one to get it, so pleeeeaaase MS if you read this, dont do it!!

I'm just going to do everything possible in the hope not to be banned again, including clearing the HDD cache, every bit helps lol dry.gif
