The live logs are the same either way--notes or no notes.  If you know how to read them without the notes, then you may have some ground to talk, but I'm pretty sure you don't.  A DMI read is still a DMI read whether or not it's spelled out in the notes for noobs to read.

Everyone knows the risk.  Taking that risk is completely your fault.  If you did not know the risk, you're a dumb ass and you should really do more reading before modifying anything.  Nobody's trying to set you up for failure, but shit happens, and everyone should understand that.  And who are the "they" you speak of?  The ones telling you to STFU, stop crying, and it IS YOUR FAULT will be regular users like me that understand the risk, not the developers.

 This is all interesting but I could have sworn when I checked the logs several days ago I could Not  find the string AD 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 08 04 00 00 in the logs for 2009-05-27 at all. I went back to the november 08 ban hammer months and copied from there then control F'd the new log. I agree there were notes but where changed but I cant believe they actually changed the string I must of made a mistake obviously, I mean you have googles cache right? The whole thing is wierd ... anyways there is a new log out...anybody remember where the original converstion of not checking dmi resides had something to do with the liteon coming out didnt it?
