Posted by Iriez | May 29 22:15 EST | News Category: Xbox360

>> A XBC Release intended to handle the new iXtreme 1.6 0800 mode firmwares
Removed - Support for previous Xtreme ripping firmwares
Removed - Stealth Check Buttons - Use agbx360
Changed - Stealth Check Report - PFI Wave X Date match removed
Changed - Named check mark on options tab as "ISO Check"
to reflect it is not a "Stealth Check" anymore
Added - Ability to lock game partition before ripping
Added - Ability to detect iXtreme firmware spoofing
Added - Support for iXtreme 1.6 Samsung
Added - Support for iXtreme 1.6 BenQ
Added - Support for iXtreme 1.6 Liteon
Added - Support for iXtreme 1.6 Hitachi
(Note: Hitachi is untested and awaiting a firmware release)

Due to an issue that affects the Liteon ix16 it is advised that you start
XBC without a DVD in the drive.

*** NOTE ***
This build of XBC does not support older Xtreme ripping firmwares
(Kreon drives are still supported though). Stealth Checking verbiage/intent removed, XBC only does limited checking. Use abgx360(info)(info) at http://abgx360.net for more thorough Stealth Checking

Hello,

Does it support the Nero 9 burn engine? Everytime I use XBC (pre this version) for the first time I get coasters, but when I use Nero first and then XBC no coasters. I tried it on Vista and XP (no Nero or any other burning engine installed), same result. At first I thought my drive was f*cked, guess it isn't. Always worked fine before, guess some Windows hotfix screwed things up. I also tried the Imgburn combination same result.

Not having much success with XBC 2.9 and iX 1.6 0800(samsung). In SPTI mode drive is recognised but when complete backup is started it returns "Unable to determine current visable partition" "Read Failed". Tried the same with ASPI selected and get warning about already been unlocked, video will be filled with zero's but disc continues to rip. Stealth checked the resulting ISO failed only on the video partition.

Needless to say tried I this on more than one original disk with same results.

I was having the same problem with my spare MS25 flashed with iX 1.6 0800. I have since installed the drivers posted in the link by link375 and was able to make a full backup successfully. biggrin.gif Give them a try if your still experiencing problems.

Thanks for the great piece of software.

I've got one quick suggestion/ complaint and I am new to backing up games so if I haven't researched enough please kindly point me in the right direction.  I'm currently backing up 4 Xbox1 games (GTA SA, GTA III, GTA VC, and Halo2) and I've come to the blantant resolution that ABGX360 does not verify these games, and the latest release of XBC does not include the stealth checker anymore.  Is there an external program to check these backups or do I need to use let's say XBC 2.8 to verify these backups?

So my suggestion is this, use an ISO filter of some sort to isolate the Xbox1 ISO's from the 360 ISO's and only Xbox1 ISO's are capable of using the Stealth Checker in XBC.  I don't know if it's possible, just my humble recommendation.

Thanks again for the great tool.

I use Vista64 and when i open the new XBC v2.9, i get this message...

QUOTE
Action: Read DMI Sector
Sense Error: 5 / 30 / 02
UNKNOWN ERROR
CDB: READ DVD STRUCTURE

After i press 'ok' everything seems to working normally, is this message anything to worry about?
