Right i'm a total noob and i've tried to flash my liteon drive, I got an error saying wrong com port but i continued and it said everything was ok but now it won't play any disk, have i bust it??

not as long as you have your original key and firmware

I'm pretty sure i haven't extracted the key and i have a file in my folder ixtreme.bin would that be the firmware. Not sure what i'm doing wrong i'm using the ck3pro with probe and connecting it via usb. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

as far as I know, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, you'd have to use something like jungleflasher or iprep to flash your drive back to the stock firmwre, but without your key, you cant do that

Most likely...

You said you are using a USB connection with your CK3, which is not supported.

You needed to use the RS232 (Serial) connection, this has been stated many times in both the instructions on the disc and also in this thread...

Well, if you continued without dumping your key properly, then yes, you may need to get a new one.

Question, why did you answer yes to the 'Did the firmware dump successfully?' screen when you knew the program had given you an error during dumping?

That question is there to prevent you from continuing if the dump fails.

If you continued anyway after the application told you that the COM port was incorrect, then there may be no turning back now...

Probably not, because my concern is that since you continued the process without the key being dumped properly my disc overwrote the firmware on your drive with firmware that contains a blank key, which is why your 360 will only play DVDs now...

I'm trying to make my disc as safe and easy to use as possible, but even with professionals it is hard to learn a new piece of software quickly when you are using it for the first time...

Frosty not sure if this makes a difference i loaded the Ixtreme file (256kb) that was saved in my lonfiles folder in to jungleflasher and this is what it said.

Yeah, that's a blank key...

It looks like your key did not dump correctly.

Just want to say a big thanks for creating this disk, i was pulling my hair out trying other methods to flash my samsung drive until i stumbled across your disk it worked like a charm, i had it flashed in 5 mins.

Once again thanks for all the time and effort much respect!!!!

Just one thing I don't understand, when I checked back to see what files it had left on c drive I had got IXTREME.bin and ORIG.bin in samfiles folder but they are both 0kb? and will not load into jungle flasher to check because of not being 256.

My setup is sammy drive spoofed to liteon, sammy was already iextreme 1.4.

Any ideas whats going on? 360 plays wave 2 and 3 fine and during flashing screen showed it recognised sammy spoofed to liteon.

Hmm, it's most likely an NTFS driver issue.

The NTFS support on my disc is pretty good, but i've noticed about 10% of users are experiencing anomalies with the backup files produced on their HDD... (but their 360 drives still get modified correctly)

I will try to improve on this in future versions.
