You'd get much more users if you didn't require a login to download it.

Also, if possible, the ability to accept friends while using this would be nice.

Also, make it CLOSE to system tray.  Not close entirely.  Kinda annoying since I don't like having things on my taskbar, so when I close the X, it closes entirely.

if you click on the systray icon, it will minimize and don't close !
but if you click on the close button, of course you close it !  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Most chat programs CLOSE to system tray when you hit the X.  You could also give a warning when you hit the X saying "exit program?" or "close to system tray?" then have a "yes, exit program", "no close to system tray" or something.

Also, double clicking a friend's name should automatically bring up a chat window to them, imo.

Aside from those two quirks, I like the utility.

One more complaint:

I have 20 pending friends, and every time the utility refreshes my list, it expands the "Pending" group, and scrolls to the bottom of the list.  Pretty annoying imo.  I'd prefer it to keep them closed as a group, and let me remain focused on what I'm already looking at.

And I couldn't figure out how to accept a request with the utility.

Ok ok one last thing - hopefully...

The tooltips, if you could have an option to decide when you are alerted, that would be cool.  That way I don't have to see every time someone puts in a different game, etc.  So if I only want to see when people log on, I'd have the option.

Maybe have check boxes in an option menu for, alert for: online/offline, games, etc.
