Wave 3 Solution With Abgx360
« on: March 26, 2009, 06:48:00 PM »

I knew this was coming as I read up on M$s future planning for newly released games. I don't understand why they think you aren't entitled to backup your software that you spent your money on. Well anyway; I was wondering if there's anyone who has gotten "abgx101" to work properly when verifying the security sectors. I thought the program was suppose to connect to the online database and retrieve the latest patches for newer wave 3 games. I have backed up my "Wanted, Trivial Pursuit, Stormrise, and Hawx but they all suffer from incorrect PFIs after the rip. The software isn't recompiling for the autofix and patches for whatever reason. I would greatly appreciate it if a Scene-Genius would look into this and post me back.

what are you ripping them with?

I used XBC w/ a 800 flashed sammy and it rips/verifies them right.

I used XBC and Strom, but no success with the PFI file.

WHY you're trying to 'fix' your own rips with abgx is beyond me.  If you want to CHECK your rips, set abgx to autofix level 2.  Wanted isn't in the abgx database, so you'll get errors anyhow.

yeah had the same problem with wanted....it ripped fine on the xbc build 275 they came out with at the end of january...just got abgx1.1 tonight and just ran a 3 since the wanted failed the stealth check on the xbc i'm running...said in the box though it wasn't in the database yet.....so the new question is how long is it abgx is gonna take to keep there info updated and ( as i hope and prey greatly} are the wonderful people who set up xbc about to drop a new version of the program for the new wave 3 partitions that are all being put on the new games coming out....

Level 3 is for someone else's rip, not your own.  Level 3 actually looks for the stealth files online.  WHY you'd want to do that is beyond me since YOU'RE the one that ripped it.  Start abgx, go to 'autofix' and hover your mouse over the '!' next to the 'autofix threshold' drop-down menu and READ it

Ahhh shit, thanks mang. Luckily I don't use my backups online, and the only time I have is when I've had a disc inserted in the tray and been on LIVE Marketplace.

Cheers.

I use XBC with samsung drive to backup games too, and all of them have worked up to guitar hero metallica. It acts like a DVD in the xbox drive. Anyone know why?
