I hate to see people bash good tools such as these that can help everyone even those who do their own rips. Its always good to be informed and had good tools because no one app is perfect.

Xbox Backup Creator is not perfect. I have a backup that I know is bad that I saved from last summer. The latest version of XBC still says it pass all test. Schtrom from last year finds the bad SS and DMI as well as abgx360 finds it. Using more that one tool to check your work is always good. Transfer errors can happen.

Before someone flames me please hear me out. Downloaded the newest version 1.0 from the website for MAC OS X

Not sure if you got it figured out or not, but you can use Pacifist to install the package.

Trying to install on OS X 10.5.5 here and getting the following:

Install Failed

The following install step failed: run preflight script for abgx database. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

I did show package and don't see the script. Any ideas?

Inside the package are 3 other packages. Inside the package named: abgx360-database.pkg you'll find the preflight script. And also the post script.

Both will give this error. I installed Abgx360, simply by renaming these 2 files. (into whatever) And since it installed and works fine.

is there really any need for it. come on. chill out guys. really. isnt the main part of a forum for talking and helping other people out. for knowledge etc etc.
forums are not here to flame people call them dumb, idiots, etc etc. its imature and brings down the forum.
so i just want to add, that just remember no matter who your talking with you can still be civilised and curtious. theres no reason for name calling and calling on peoples abilitys which is wrong. People on the internet are turning like people who drive cars with road rage. come on. its not difficult to try and respect each other. it really isnt hard.
people are here to talk and ask questions etc. and help others, there not here to be slandered and talk to like garbage.

Treat others as you would expect those to treat you. Please and thankyou
