same here, but i would still dump three times myself. and with multiple dumping by the program itself it will give more assurance.
i mean it take just a couple of minutes extra. but can cost you your xbox. so just spend the 5 minutes extra thats how i think off it.

I used JF with the noob via tutorial. once i had dumped the key, inquiry and identify i DID NOT press the "open dummy as source" button. But erased my drive first and since this costs me some problems I restarted JF.
So once restarted I went to the "firmwaretool 32" tab and clicked "load from dump files" and gave the location for my key, inquiry and identify files than it asked me to save the dummy file which i did. and then i opened target firmware and spoofed it and flashed it.

This should be fine right?

This is great! I had to do mine by pasting the key into notepad several times, was distracting. Sure makes it easy now!

If you create your dummy.bin only with key, inquiry and identity the serial nuber is NOT saved.
Only dvdkey 32, jf and dosflash create a valid dummy.bin which includes the serial number.
Again: The three bins DO NOT include the serial number!!!

ofcourse you can make a dummy.bin from the 3 bin files that are dumped, and it'll be good. what .bin does include the serial according to you then?

None! The serial is only saved if you create the dummy.bin directy with jf, dosflash or dvdkey32....
Just check the dvdkey32 readme if you dont believe me or try to create a hacked-firmware with firmtool 1.31. You will get a Warning saying "lite-on serial appears to be partially incomplete"

The firmware will still work without the serial number but you will probably get banned soon.

hi guys,first of all sorry for my not perfect english: i'm italian.

i have a doubt,maybe someone can help me to find the answer.

immagine that you're using this program to dump the key,using for example the maximus xtractor and the spear method (no soldering).

this new release of dvdkey consist in multiple reading,correct?
first question: do i have to keep my spear all the time on the r707?
second question: what will happen if accidentally the spear is not inserted in the r707 hole while multiple reading is processing? the dump will be wrong?

so,in other words: what is the total time required for the multiple dump of the key?
