Eeprom Troubles

I was trying 2 change it and i guess i fked up and now when i turn my xbox on it starts then restarts then starts up again with no vid or audio and the dvd drive wont eject... (Has green led and when i hit eject the lights blink slowly) neway i can reflash my eeprom. i made a backup of my eeprom.
but i think my stock hd is locked..
what do i do? i got a 1.6 xbox.
I got a spiderchip so i dont think i can patch it with it.. do i gotta go buy another modchip or something and reflash it? or can i just burn something on a cd and bing bam boom it will relfash it?

You could try burning configmagic to a disk, so that it will boot at startup. That way you ca relash the eeprom that way. Make sure you have your eeprom saved into the correct  folder though. Search for the blank eeprom within eeprom magic delete it and place your eeprom in there, as this is the one it flashes with.

I cant get into my xbox with config magic tho. cuz i cant see or do anything with it.. it just turns on with no vid or audio and my dvd rom doesnt seem 2 open if i try 2 open it...

Ok here is one for you guys,
softmodded 1.0 xbox, went black when in XBMC. then i got the green for 2 sec then flashing red for about 8 sec reboots and does the same over and over. tried EVERYTHING. i even bought a Xenium Ice chip solderless and nothing. the chip's OS doesnt even want to come up. and ideas?  at leaset my dvd drive opens  tongue.gif
i do have back ups of the orignal HDD and eeproms on my pc.
any help thanks.

if it is indeed the eeprom its a fairly easy fix.

Get your eeprom (you know the one you backed up when you first modded just like all the tutorials said to do) and embed it into a bios , i use cromwell myself. Than flash that bios to the chip (programmer required or at least another xbox to boot the chip and reflash it with bios containing the embedded eeprom).

Now simply boot up your xbox with the modchip enabled that has the embedded eeprom in the bios. Thats it

Now it will work again.

2 notes to mention.

#1  EVTOOL is a great program to use to embed the eeprom in the bios, it has the option plain as day you cant miss it.

#2  If you google embedding eeprom with cromwell you might just find this one site that already has cromwell bios with an eeprom embedded in it already (just in case you never backed up your eeprom). The eeprom in the bios is a banned one, but it will allow you to get your xbox back up and running. Than you can always use configmagic later to reflash the eeprom to an unbanned one.
