Right Hdd?
« on: November 24, 2008, 08:16:00 PM »

Hey guys,

I think I may have figured out my problem.  I know the hddhackr supports LAT and RST but does it also support my WD Scorpio drive?

I am having a problem detecting it with my Xbox.  I can run the hackr fine...but it still says it doesn't match.

Any thoughts/help?

I don't think your drive is the problem, I have the same drive and got it to work. It's most likely Hddhackr not detecting your SATA controller.

Thats what I thought.  Should I try running hddhackr off another PC?  I'm guessing it could be a problem with the motherboard or something?

Thanks for the help.

Also I wanted to ask...if I try to run hddhackr off another PC would I need to return the HDD to its original state using undo.bin?

Or does it even matter?
