Help With 20gb To 120gb Hdd
« on: November 24, 2008, 11:56:00 AM »

Hey guys,

Well I tried to post this earlier...but now I cannot find my other post.  Sorry if it is repeating but I'm at a stand still and really need some help.

So here is what I have done so far.

Tried to use a USB flash drive to start my PC into DOS...but for whatever reason could not...so instead I used a bootable disk in my CD ROM.

Once in DOS I could see my USB flash drive with the HDDHACKR program.  Ran that...but it couldn't find the drive immediately...then ran in legacy and found it.  Looked to the right HDD since it was the only one connected and the Serial Number was a match.

When I ran the program though all the data was written to the USB stick...but thought maybe that was normal and restarted and ran the program again as it states in the tutorial.

However during the second run I got no message saying that the Xbox would be able to read this.

What should it say?

I even tried hooking up the new drive to the xbox so it would format it but it still couldn't detect anything.

Should I just get an old school floppy drive to flash the HDD?

I would really apprecaite any ideas you would have.  Thanks!
