Most probably due to the 360 drive. What make of DVD-DLs are you using? Personally i had problems with RITEK disks. When loading it would spin then stop and make a weird sound then spin again and then load them game but it would then say error reading disk. Another thing is if they are 8x DLs then dont burn them at that speed. When burning games, cds, dvds or anything use the slowest burn rate as it will be the cleanest and give you less errors (if any) compared with burning them at the fastest speed.

Verbatim Dual Layer DVDs - Best quality, Most expensive
or
Aone Dual Layers - Personally i use these burned over 20 with them all work perfectly like the original. Cheap aswell! £3-4 for a pack of 10!
