all of the links are broken and i need to restore all my save games and profiles and stuff from my orginal 20gb to my 120gb HD.

i get that "could not find FATX drive to open!" error. and i saw a post somewhere saying i need the extreme build 2 which is a modified version of the beta 6.

i cannot find any links to it on the forum either.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

im stuck...

also when i try to use the Xplorer360.exe file it always says im missing .dll files. So i googled them and downloaded them, that allowed it to open. But still i cannot get access to my 1200bevs

bump, im dead in the water.

i tried on a different system on its onboard sata controller. and then on another system with an external sata enclosure.. none of them worked but the orginal works fine.. theres something fishy going on. ive tried with beta 6 and DOES NOT WORK!

Biggest question. Have you flashed your wd drive with a 120GB hddss.bin? If so, does it work with your 360?

Instead of multiple bumps, try researching likely causes.

If the answers to both of those questions are yes, then try the version of xplorer360 that the specialist hexed. It is still available for download. If that doesn't work, keep searching the technical sata board until you find the beta6 extreme build 2 if that isn't the version that is available. I found it some time ago and can't remember what version it is.

Google has it. Should not be too hard for you to find the correct version.

If the answers to either of the above questions are no, go back to reading the forum how-tos and faqs.

Ive been looking nonstop on google, this forum, i tried 360savegames but i cannot get a membership, i looked in the p2p networks, and no luck what-so-ever.

yes it has been flashed to the 120gb hdss.bin i tried both ways but still i get the same message on xplorer360.

a link would be really helpful as i have looked everywhere and i feel i have exhausted my efforts  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grr.gif)

Were you able to get your hard drive to work on your xbox 360 after using hddhackr?

It should have seen it. Let us know if you were able to prior to you using xplorer360.

its restoring it right now. Is it normal it only detected one partition? (Partition 1)

Okay i left it to restore last night and about 10% into it (6 bars) it stopped. It just sat there and didnt move. Did i miss something? i did a restore image, maybe thats why? can i not restore a 20gb HD image on a 120gb HD?

i just copied the content folder manually into part 3.. worked great! i had to also reformat the drive after the failed restore.

but now it works great... im gonna download the entire marketplace! lol

Glad to see that worked out for you.

The only way I was able to get my Partition 1 on the new HD was using a 20GB image onto my 120GB. Sucks to have to keep an 18GB compressed backup image in case I need to do another hdd, but I haven't looked to see another way to get the emulator partition on the drive just yet.

Make sure you can run your xbox1 discs before you declare a complete success though...

Hi, I also stumble upon the same problem.
When I want to restore it and read the flashed 120Gb using xplorer360 extreme 2 it only detect partition 1.
What should I do to make the other partition appear?

I also have this problem, being looking on google all morning, and downloaded xplorer360 extreme 2 from like 12 different places, and I still have the problem.

The drive works perfectly on the 360, it flashed perfectly with the hdds.bin and I formatted in my 360 to show 107gb.

I'm using a nvidia4 sata chipset, vista home premium and a 26UST0 BEVS if that's any help.

ok then.

I've finally sorted it out.

What I did was on my original 20gb HDD I backed up partition 2 on xplorer360 extreme 2. (File>Backup Partition 2)

Then on my 120gb BEVS I restored partition 2 ( File> Restore Partition 2)

Restarted the program, the instead of seeing partition 1, i now can see partition 2 and 3.

Just injected my contents folder, and everything is working fine.
