I just received my Datel Xport 360 today and have been researching how to transfer music to the hd as that was one of the selling points for the item. I was reading a few topics here from 2006 or 2007 that discussed transferring music or movies to the hd and everyone just said there should be a converter shortly.. which was a year or two ago. I haven't been able to find anything else on transferring music, though. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance ^^

I would like to know what format the music had to be in and what folder to store it so my xbox thinks its just been ripped. is it possible?

its not possible. the only way to transfer music to the HDD is transfer them from an audio CD. it must be an audio CD and not a MP3 disc by the way.

alrighty what about dvds is there anyway maybe to transfer .vob files? also i had videos on my network and it asked to download a codec which it did and it wont play any movies over the network says codec error or what not

only ones that play are .wmv i just dont want to reencode them all.
