very nice idea, and could become very handy. few things...

-you better make sure you ask Caster if its ok to include iPrep 101 with the program, along with the apporpriate people for any pictures you use (this is for your benefit as it covers your ass)
-lots of bugs need fixing (nothing too major)
-as you said, not finished yet.

if you want some help working on this, im always glad to help out.

sorry, typing on a wii tends to make me forget what i have and havnt typed and produces errors (a 2 line typing space is too compact)

it meant to say klutsh, caster and co (firmtool was created by caster, which is included with this, along with other small bits)

if this program continues along, it might be a good idea to produce a slimmed down iprep to use in the example, it will reduce the filesize

it doesnt seem like a clone, as the whole iprep 101 files are included with the download.

what i said about firmtool, it is the program that is used in dos once a drive has been read. its a automatic tool that extracts the DVD key and injects it into the new firmware. i didnt say to use it, just ask for permission to include it with your program (which is has been included in it as iprep places it on the prepared bootable device).

i hope you decide to add a troubleshooting section, possibly use XP help and support centre trouble shooting as a starting point.

PM me with the source if you want some help. i have alot of free time on my hands at the moment and could add alot of input on this.

and dont worry about the view/reply ratio, alot of people tend to read topics without replying.
