Problem Booting To Iprep Via Usb... "system"
« on: February 07, 2008, 05:31:00 PM »

Whenever i try to boot from usb after setting up my 1gb USB using iprep, i always get the word "system" at the bottom of the screen directly after my bios... i have my bios set to boot from USB FDD, but i can't get past the "system" part. Any ideas?

Also i checked and my flash drive is running on a FAT32 file system. Does it need to be NTFS? I am going to try with a different USB today, ill tell you how it went.

I'm having a similar problem.  I've set my bios to boot from USB-FDD and made a bootable flash drive.  When i reboot just tells me to insert system disc or if i mess with some sttings i can get it to display a J and thats it.

st3venhal1: How did it go? Did you change to NTFS file system?

yeah...

plug your USB stick into the PC as its powering up and it might be listed as the make/model in the BIOS.
