Data Migration Kit And Xplorer360

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but the search is not working for meand i got tired of browsing aimlessly.  I would like to use xplorer360 to transfer movies onto my 360s harddrive.  As the Elite Data Migration Kit seems to be the cheapest option out there, I was wondering if it would even work with xplorer360.  I mean it basically seems like it's a usb connector for the harddrive, but does the PC even recognize it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
