I just saw the video for half life 2 maps being imported into portals map folder and saw someone playing hl2 with the portal gun. I want to modify the script files and map locations to make a custom burn of hl2/portal merge. I can unpack standard iso's with iso buster but I only get a dvd format with both iso buster and winrar. Is there a tool that will allow me to see the file contents of the iso?

wx360 will extract the contents of a 360 iso for you.

OK, wx360 is working for this. Now I need a tool that will recompile my data after I modify it. What tool can I use for this?

*Update*

I have extracted the contents of the Half Life 2 Orange Box disc to a directory on my hard drive. The directory structure of the disc has each individual game in a separate folder (eg EP2, HL2, Portal etc...). In the root I have found a file called Default.xex which I am sure is like the .xbe files for the regular Xbox - is there an editor for this file type? Also under almost each folder is a file labeled zip0.360.zip but Winrar doesn't read it properly. I am assuming that this is the file I need to unzip and modify and repack in order to modify significant content in the game (like the game 'load map' script). Is there a utility that will allow me to unzip these files and then repack them when I am done?

So to Recap:

1) I need a .xex editor. Is there one available?

2) I need an xbox360 zip utility. Is there one available?

Thanks in advance.

That mod was undoubtly for PC.  You can't edit a .xex, it will break the signiture and the x360 won't load the disc, whats worse is you might get banned if you try.  Homebrew is comming eventually for x360, when it comes you can attempt this mod.  I am not an expert, but I believe this is correct.  A tool to edit .xex's most likely doesn't exist, again breaking the signiture (mught be wrong); I did find this http://www.xbox-scen...ols/XEXtool.php.  As far as xbox .zip's...  http://www.xbox-scen...ls/x360Tool.php could give you more info on files, hope that helps.
