Xbc 2.5 Only Says "media Not Present" Eventhough I Have A Ga

PLEASE! I need your help!

Im running Windows Vista
I am not new to this scene though it has been awhile since i tried backing up my own games.  I flashed my box with xtrm0800.bin and ran XBC2.5 and when i put in a Original game and click my drive from the dropdown menu it says "media not present" even though i have a game in, So i goto My conputer and my 360 shows itself as being a CD drive not a DVD drive like it used to! what do i do?
