Backing up one of my games with Xbox backup creator and I receive the following error:

what brand / type of media are you using?

DVD Rom is Samsung SH-D162c v0.81 kreon to backup my original game. My DVD +R dual layer drive is Samsung(or LG) GSA-4163B. I'm using dvd +R dvd's at 2.4x.

Anyways I figured it out.

Originally I backed up my original game in Xbox creator v2.5 into the iso and then I was using xbox creator to write the iso to dvd +r as well this is when I got the error above. So I installed Imgburn, opened the iso(.dvd) and the backup of my original game is now working perfectly. It's possible the GSA-4163B drive doesn't play nicely with xbox creator v2.5, but my backup is now working so I'm happy.
