Hey everyone!  

I just built a new computer:

3.4ghz P4 w/HT
2 gig kingston ram
160gig ata hdd
running vista ultimate

Using SH-D162C flashed firmware

Now I can burn games but cant read them with this system!

I have 3 games that Im attempting to backup:
Forza 2
Tomb Raider Legend
Hitman

Now when I put in Hitman it will copy till it hits the second layer about 3.4gigs left to read then it will start reading slower and slower till 0x is reached then just stall and then ask if i want to fill the sector with zero's

When I put in Tomb Raider the whole program stops responding then it will show up as 6.78mb, but the program is still not responding.

When I put in Forza it stays at the Getting Media info and says program not responding!

These are the only real games I have to test and non will backup.

I had the SH-D162C in my old computer with a DVR112D and everything worked fine so I cant figure out what is going on.

Heres the ata cable configs Ive tried all with the same output:

SH-D162C  as master with DVR as slave
DVR as master and SH-D162C as slave
SH-D162C and DVR both on cable select, tried the SH-D162C on the master end of the ata cable and on the slave connector

If anyone can shed some light on my situation that would be awesome.

I have also tried reflashing my SH-D162C but made no difference

In XBC the drive shows up as "TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D162C TS04" and Im pretty sure that on my old computer it said "TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D162C Keron 0.81" or something similar

Again any help would be awesome
