What does this mean? 'nFatal error, the EC serial string was not found in the FW'
What do I need to do to correct it?
If all this has been answered, then please point me in the right direction.
Thanks for any help.

Hi, sorry, missed your question. Make sure you're using the latest version (v0.91), that probably is the reason you're having problems. If you already are using that, let me know.

I would like to use other Seagate drives (larger than 20Gb since they are no longer made) in a 360 but do not want to use WD's. I've been experimenting with the MHDD utility that allows direct sector read write to/from files. Does anyone know what data is stored in the EC.bin file? What sectors/data are stored in this file?

I'm having the same problem too...I can't figure out why...it's frustrating.
It's worded a little differently though..."Fatal error, the EC sector was not found in the FW". I have a 75LATO as well and am using version 0.91 of hddhackr.
