As you may know Microsoft has released today a new firmware update for the Xbox 360 and this broke compatibility with TVersity Media Server(info) (only with videos, audio and images work as before).
We are glad to announce that we already have a patch that fixes this problem and also takes advantage of the new functionality of this spring update, letting you browse your video in a folder hierarchy instead of just a long flat list.

Thank you everyone for helping us test this. It will be great if people with a 360 from different regions in the world will test it since in the past we had cases where European boxes behaved different than American ones.

Ya, and they were pretty quick too.

I just finished watching a movie and it works.

I *really* like how TVersity took immediate advantage of the folder browsing... that is SOOO much better! I really wish it didn't take Microshaft so freaking long to come up with it though... Kudos to TVersity for making it work in the patch. Much easier to browse now!

I dont want to sound like a nub, but what else does tv do? Does it transcode on the fly or something??

I'm switching from T360 to TVersity now =D The only thing keeping me to T360 was that I couldnt find any files without a mapping system (I have alot of videos).

if i understand correctly, with this you can browse more than just your "my music" and so on for streaming content? and is there any way to save content from the computer to the 36-0?
